Lucky shot / by Paul Jarrett

I never claim to engineer anything at a wedding, where people are, their reactions, the light etc.  My work ethic as a documentary wedding photographer is very much 100% hands off do what you want it’s your day.  Stories are told exactly as they happen.

Are pictures like this a fluke, complete luck, or is there some method behind them?  Honestly I’ve no idea, I seem to be in the right place at the right time a fair bit, there’s no definite intention there I purely float along with the day, the feel, mood and story are my only concern.

I do like it when things like this come together though.
